Quit freaking out people. Nothing will happen today or this week. Follow the pattern - they claim, 'layoffs are material to the company' so will not announce them to use until they have told stock holders (who don't care and just sell more of our stock) so like the first two rounds it will be during an external speaking event.
Possible layoff date for this year: Nov. 5th.
Before and after that date you are safe (other than their sneaky one off firing of people)

The problem is that the company has created a culture of paranoia by what happened in February. Until oil prices get up around $70/barrel we will all be on the edge of our seat waiting for the axe to fall. It doesn't help matters when our leader has said that 10% reduction across the board and asset sales but not telling us when it will happen. Effective leaders will come out and say "yes, this is going down, and it will happen before (insert date)". But unfortunately we do not have effective leadership.

Saw that CBRE is shopping the MOC Tower. Perhaps they are not as interested in the property if their major tenant will not need as much space in the future due to staff cuts.
