Weatherford Employees are idiots. I mean come on, just look at the post and the replies. Grown ass adults acting like children. If this is the way the remaining employees act, there is no chance in hell another top dog company would put their paws on Weatherford. Weatherford employees are not ready for REAL LIFE, REAL WORK or REAL COMMITMENT TO THE JOB!

693 you are the minority on this site, 99% of people sound like they hate working for Weatherford, I would be cocerned, maybe they are justified or maybe they are the problem, either way its hard to give a crap when no one else around you does, I've never seen anything like this to be honest, nobody has anything good to say and the rest are at least smart enough to tell them to keep quiet. Very cocerning and I work for a competitor.

Yes its quite a debacle with all the ridiculous childish BS that is slung around here. Over the years I have seen my fair share of incompetent employees but they usually do a good job of getting thier own ass ran off.
As for the rest there are many highly intelligent people that have been the mainstay of Weatherford or have left to bettter jobs or retirement. Its always been a family oriented work enviroment for us in general. We still stay intouch with those that have been layed off or moved on and always will.
However we have no say in how the board of directors etc handle this company. That debt is on their shoulders. I don't agree with 80% of the things they are doing but that's that.
However I totally understand where many of you are coming from, especially those who have been layed off already. I don't drink anyone's BS koolaid. Obviously it doesn't matter if so n so is banging ol what's her name. These things will catch up to those people soon enough. If our so called fearless leaders know what they're doing and save the Co then so be it.
If not I'm sure ill see you in the unemployment line. Again, best of luck to everyone affected and use this situation as a learning lesson for future thought.

Proof in the pudding - Here we have Anonymous 177693 showing the world once again how uneducated employees are at Weatherford. Oh wait, "thier" was a typo, But can not even spell the name of the company you work for and adore. I had the opportunity to work at Weatherford. After working with uneducated, unprofessional employees who only cared about paydays, lunch breaks and talking poorly of management and co-workers; it was not a hard decision for me to leave this type of atmosphere. If any of the "VERY SMALL population of employees" were to ever get fired, laid off or decided to leave Weatherford, they would have an unpleasant realization that the world and workforce does not work like Weatherford. They would be hard pressed to find a job that would let them conduct themselves in such a manner. And I agree, it is a shame that a once great company that was a viable threat for competition is now nothing but the laughing stock for the industry.
Im not a coward or a child but im also not going to be this companys whore when shit goes down. Im not trying to save this company or my job. Im looking out for me, something weatherford hasnt done in a long time. Keep kissing that ass and ill see you in the unemployment line
By the way, I am not condoning thier ignorant behavior. The racial remarks, name calling, gossiping and lying is unnecessary. It's truly sad that instead of working hard to save our company, they chose the lesser road and act like cowards. I can understand how frustrating it is to read thier comments.

Fortunately, they represent a VERY SMALL population of Weatherford employees. From your comment, I can assume you are not a Weatherford employee and that you have not had the pleasure of working with our very talented, skilled, dedicated and positive Weatherford team members. The current state of our industry and our company is alarming, but I'm positive that Weathord will be able to overcome this rough period, regardless if we are or are not picked up by another company. So before you go judging our organization by those who chose to misrepresent us, get some facts! Now, that's REAL LIFE!
