It is Sunday, most workers at Rankin are tending their sheep and goats.

I do not come in to work on Sunday for 2 reasons. Firstly on Sunday I attend my Christian worship because Sunday is the Lords holy day of rest. Secondly on Sunday the main office smells very strongly of goat and sheep, after the other workers have been home for 2 days with there families and friends.

This is a friendly that Dubai facilities working hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with few groups working from 8:00 to 4:30/5:00 am. I took an office tour this morning at 8:20 am and most floors were empty .. a sort of a ghost city! I understand that we have shared service centers/AMO/Plant in Dubai and those are working different hours, but what I am referring to are the regular working hours employees and managers, not the ones with assigned shifts. I assume after all the RIFs that took place, our employees are now way more busy with the re-assigned workload, to show up on time. I look for your support to ensure that we all stick to our working hours and that all our employees are fully committed to that. To support this effort, the Dubai based HR team (Hazel, Nadia and Latha) will be conducting random checks around the facility and via the swiping cards system, and will report any repetitive attendance violations to the Manager in charge and will take the necessary disciplinary actions as per our policies. Please communicate the above expectations to your teams Regards Samar Samar ElMnhrawy| VP Human Resources Baker Hughes | Middle East Asia Pacific Region Office:+971 4 8114689 | Cell:+971 55 2000506 | samar.elmnhrawy@bakerhughes.com http://www.bakerhughes.com | Advancing Reservoir Performance
