I don’t understand why you people get so upset at this person (Call it daddy). It is obvious he/she does not now, or has ever worked for COP. Some people just don’t have lives.
I couldn't resist. I left COP in 2007. I see both sides of this argument. To the folks that got shit canned. Ask anyone that has left that sinking ship, life quality and future promotions increase exponentially. Check a few high potentials that have left. Presidents of companies, own their own company, trading at hedge funds, geologist with better organizations. Don't look back, look forward. The place you are leaving is a zest pool of the lost. I worked on the trade floor, so there is a lot of truth to Ex Trader Post. Regardless, if he still is in the pack don't waste your time. Sounds like you are a good person. Leave the shit whole.
