My (former) STL called and said that our benefits will not run out until October 31. They are making our separation effective as of October 9. This means that out final pay will not come until around October 16, but At least we can still use our insurance until October 31. I hope this is some good news for some us. Good luck to everyone.

Yes, correct. You get the full 8 weeks pay regardless of the change of separation date.
Im also in the same boat. Im grateful for the extension of benefits due, but i also need the damn money. I have bills to pay...we all im sure. Ugh...way to kick us when were down....

I was told the packets were being delivered to our STORE and id get a call to come in to sign it, and everything, including my severence would be on the 9th.
Sounds like tmsl wasnt given all the information from up abovd before calling everyone who was laid off.
Also I was told benefits lasted 6 weeks, and the hra/pwa card 6 months. Just last week I got that call.

Just confirmed. Pto and 8 week pay will be direct deposited on the 9th. Severance will come after store receives packet and we sign, within 7 days from signing. Separation date was moved to the 9th so we can keep benefits through Oct. This doesn't change anything except us being able to use insurance through the end of the month. -SW Region.

Yea my pbs didn't tell me. I found out by another Tm. I called the pbs and it was confirmed but it didn't seem like they wanted that part known

My PBS talked to me Friday and told me the same thing. I feel bad for her. Her position was cut too and she is having to deal with the heartbreak of all this while she is looking for another position as well. She cares more than the TMSL does. I almost feel worse for her, she is the sweetest lady.
