Yes, I'm serious. While my TL is moving forward with consolidating buyers, there has been zero communication with the team to provide details, offer support, or even acknowledge that something is happening. No conversation, phone call, email, smoke signal, nothing. Anyone else experiencing this?

Dazed and confused: there's a lot to read on this website, reddit, and in the Mother Jones article. Basically, you work for Goldman Sachs and Vanguard Funds, and it's up to them whether you stay or go. If you're told you're out, take option 1 and run. I worked for WFM for years at the flagship store; I was part of an earlier purge (this has actually been going on for some time but this is the largest phase to date.I'm still pretty well connected with TMs at several levels. Let me reassure you. Trust your gut on this; deep inside you probably already know the answers to your questions. It's scary, but there IS life after The Whole.
I've been in Hawaii, what the hell did I miss? Can someone fill me in please? I was scheduled today, but I was told to just stay home. Do I have a job?
Finally another PN voice. It was pretty f***ed hearing nothing until Monday morning. The East coast starting axing people Friday. Our Regional President Joe Rogoff doesn't even get around to sending out his damage control email until 1pm that day. Thanks Joe, now bore us some more with your weekly note.
Maybe becuase half of the stuff on this site is BS. People are believing anonymous post claiming the sky is falling and "they know" or "I heard". When I look at the jobs eliminated in my store and others around they make sense. Teams don't need a buyer for every small set and marketing has been moving to a regional position for awhile. Vendors come in and do demos so 2 or 3 ft demo team members dont fit in to todays market. If it ends up happening to me I will evaluate the situation. I don't think it will and just see a lot of these post trying to screw with tm on here. For what reason it is unclear.
This seems to be the most honest post I've seen from a TL... as a TL myself... we knew nothing, and are scared for our jobs too.

Team leaders knew some of what was coming, but very few details. Anger at TLs is misdirected.
My Team Leader was whistling through the back hallway and seriously wanted to discuss holiday end caps with me while I watched people I had worked with for ten years leave in tears. The complete lack of compassion or acknowledgement that something unusual was happening was mind blowing.
Luckily I was given a chance to escape that sinking ship and I couldn't be happier.
I feel embarrassed that I was fooled by the Whole Foods core values. Just humbling to fully realize that Wall Street runs the show.
On to bigger and better things.
If there was actually communication about this going on, we wouldn't feel like we had to come to this anonymous site for information. This is pitiful.
My TL is completely clue less. No communication in FL region.
Will be nice to have a plan ...
they are lying. We had a meeting with all buyers last week of fiscal year promising us we weren't losing our jobs. They just wanted us to finish out the year for them. 7 days later they said we are losing our job. Walter Robb is a scum bag and a liar. They want cheap part time TM'S with no service hours or benefits. That is the new model.
As a team leader, I am getting my info here. My store leadership in th PNW has not said a word to me. It is very bizarre and illustrates to me the kind of esteem "leaders" at my level are held at. My tms are coming to me and I am telling them what little I know, with the caveat that I found it here and they might want to do the same.
I was laid off and my marketing TL (who still has her job) didn't call, apologize, thank me for my work, nothing. Didn't say a word.
i'm a tl and there was very little info before this happened. i was threatened with my job if i didn't follow my stl orders. this sucks
I recommend you take a took at the post titled "to the "leaders" that obeyed. which was written earlier. yeah seems a lot of team leaders and store team leaders seem to have this same detachment from whats happening throughout stores . We are dealing with corporate psychopaths. and you can let your TM read this
