To the person asking who was working this weekend, and to all negative commentors in this site and all fake trolls: seriously, I am one who is working this weekend. Yes I perfectly expect there will be another QC layoff in 2016 and I will go out with that. But it is about your personal commitment and integrity. I don't trust any higher ups in qc, but I don't care about them. I just do my job right, and when in needs to be done. If I am out, no worries, I am sure I will find a decent job somewhere else and life will go on.

Layoffs are always minor bumps.
My point was would you really continue to put in 'extra' effort for those who've performed the layoffs unfairly and continue to increase their compensation at the cost of those putting in the hours?
What's your point OP? Majority of people in Q will go on. Layoff is a minor bump in road. Get over it.
