I could wade through all the whining and bullshit slinging on here to find out if someone else has posted this but I've heard more layoffs coming after the holidays can anyone include evidence this is going to happen?? My store is already so barebones as it is but come on, most of us have been there years and have families to think about...

cant wait for the "super team" of grocery,wholebody,front end...gonna see a lot of cash variances when you have too many hands on the money and no supervisors.....just one petrified TL and a couple of ATL for this team...im predicting high turnover.....but they like the expendable workforce now...
Yes as Ned said more cuts are coming. Nothing is decided but team consolidation will start to happen in the mid atlantic region 3 store Mason, Dayton and Lexington are piloting this new "super team" combining front end. whole body and grocery. From what I heard... Each store is being reevaluated in Jan... If stores haven't improved or can work off less people that is what they are getting. I believe there are a couple scenarios and they aren't sure which one will apply come Jan. So basically stay tuned for shit show the sequel ?
Same here, we can barely operate now as we are so severely understaffed. We had a few folks quit as well. They can certainly do that, it'd be kind of 'Fresh & Easy" style, one guy tending seven registers while customers self scan and vendors stock the shelves. Be my guest.
I haven't heard anything official. I wouldn't really expect them to come out and be up front with something like especially considering we are going into the busy season and aren't looking to scare more people off. Though someone I had talked to in team leadership said he had heard something similar.. In all honestly, it wouldn't surpise me at all if more is to come. With DU, they tried to make the company the same throughout the company, why wouldn't the same apply to this "restructuring." This is just the beginning.
