Failure, COST is just a clean up tool for bad Management...to try and save their asses. COP transformed it's self into an Independent Oil Company? But still act the same old way.. If they would have run lean in good times... things would be different.

I am highly disappointed that they didn't think outside the box on the G&A cuts. If you read the suggestions on the cost cutting ideas board they provided, several people suggested voluntary part time work of some sort. Honestly I feel that working part time is better than working no time and extra time at home is a decent consolation. Instead the answer was just hack and slash all the worker bees needed to fund that damn dividend. No effort at all to care for the workers, they only give a shit about us when they have to during boom times.
Failure big time.
Why is it to save cost, they shuffle the people in leadership and cut the bottom employees?
Interesting way to save.
COST Project and M. Hatfield are a joke... Just watch his COST update video... Even HE himself is not convinced of what he is saying... Shame on you and the ELT.
I think I expected more; but the published "philosophy" changes read like a piece of convoluted legislation that will take a team of COST bureaucrats another year to translate into measurable change. New philosophies include verbiage like “This process will now have a rationalized approach.” WTF over. My boss said he has seen neither the same presentation on multiple occasion before, like “Project 2000.” I'm sure it was very difficult to complete without stepping on toes so I applaud that, just expected more tangible recommendations.
Fail! Though to be fair, the lack of vision and direction from the ELT ensured failure!
Yep
Fail...especially when they had catering brought in to discuss cost saving measures. Take away the clocks...ha ha ha
Poor sporadic communication. Why not post all BU town halls instead of this board to share informmation?
