"University of Phoenix Launches Correctional Program Support Services Degree"

No need for me to comment. I invite all of those who were laid off (and students who were ripped off) to comment on this development and news story. "To address challenges faced by our nation’s correctional facilities and better serve the professionals who seek sustainable solutions to the effective reintegration of offenders into society, University of Phoenix® College of Social Sciences today announced the new Bachelor of Science in Correctional Program Support Services. The undergraduate program provides correctional and criminal justice industry professionals with an advanced understanding of how justice systems and social services intersect, allowing them to expand their skillsets to help address mental health, rehabilitation and recidivism issues that affect U.S. communities."................... http://www.marketwatch.com/story/university-of-phoenix-launches-correctional-program-support-services-degree-2015-10-01?siteid=nbsh

@990 - yeah but the how about the years after that?? The person would be at a plus making more money than of that without a degree. Taxes are part of being a citizen but on the flip side this person would be on the positive side.

Camden - now that pretty much all for profit schools folded are you moving on onto a different industry or a company? Anything in particular? I am not trolling, I am just curious, I am a bit of a closet activist and appreciate your zeal. Walmart? Cheers.

$15 is a good start actually and everyone has to start at the bottom. However, a degree can help advance much quicker in a government agency to a mid level leadership position and then work on that masters and get into an executive positions. Mid level management probably looking at about $60k/yr while executives making over $100k
