The book was pretty unreadable and was more about John's Zen moments in business and very little to do with actual economics.
Lets be clear he didn't write that book it was ghost written for him. The important thing to remember is capitalism that's what he's really about. When there was extra money to throw around everyone had a conscious now that there isn't and share holders are breathing down their neck the money is priority #1. Truth is this is the first of many moves like this the only thing I ask is if they want to start acting like any other grocery store they say so. At the same time have the expectations of any other store. Don't hold is to some imagined standard we can't meet while selling us a bogus dream and belittling us at the same time.

So funny! When he visited Allegro the kiss as team leaders and people had that ugly book in plain site so he could see it when he came to visit. You know who you are! Haha! Conscious Capatalism indeed! Sending a bunch of your own book out to company lemmings who didn't even read the stupid book.
