Every time we posted good gains, we had our labor cut. Promised training never happened. A Witchhunt began with employees begin let go for fictional reasons. The are selling beer that is waaaaay past code dates because the Beer Specialist got tired of the situation and left. No replacement. All the higher-paid and more experienced employees are being let go. STL Honeycutt should be ashamed.

I worked with Leigh. She was my ASTL at two stores, and she deeply cared for my well being and the well being of other TMs. Especially when I worked at PKL and leadership was shit, she was there. Maybe she changed as STL, but her caring seemed pretty ingrained.
Oh yeah, she has a mean streak for sure. And she is a total control freak. Do not contradict her or make her look bad to regional. She will write you up or fire you. She will find or twist some rule. Then say "it's the rules and it's what's fair" to cover her own ass and keep yours in like cause if you forget she's your Kroger boss. She'll remind you!
Some days Leigh is just downright mean and cruel. Than other days she's really sweet. Just depends if she's had her medicine

This is regional leadership decision making, punishing TL's and teams for actually accomplishing the goals we would have otherwise been fired for not accomplishing. You make labor, you and your team are rewarded with a gainsharing payout, regional cuts your labor at the next chance they get because it's an opportunity to make themselves look good by reducing expenses. They squeeze your labor budget year after year while requiring you to give raises (well deserved most of the time) to your team members. You make cuts to your team's hours to compensate, you don't fill a position after someone quits or is fired because you know your team is suffering. They continue to squeeze your labor, cannibalize your sales, respond ineptly to competition...etc, and eventually you don't have enough man hours to operate your department effectively. Then, the responsibility is on you, TL. Why aren't you managing your team's responsibilities? Why isn't the work done? Why does your dept look so bad? Folks, this is capitalism working at its finest. Your regional leaders have bottom line goals. Period. They don't care about you, and they've proven it. It's not the fault of your STL- though there are some good and some bad. I would say the good ones are those who are honest and compassionate and do everything they can to help you. The bad ones are those who have their nose up your regional VP's buttox so far that you probably only ever hear from them right before N.G. and company visit your store to take pictures and fake smile at you.
Leigh isn't scum. She's a really nice person and it isn't her fault this stuff happened.
As far as I knew Leigh ( astl level) she was nice. But idk if she's changed

STLs do not cut labor or decide a company wide layoff. Leigh is a kind,compassionate, and fair leader. If you care-pull the beer.
I second that. She is good. I'm sure the STLs didn't want thus.
I doubt Leigh is happy. She's a good woman.
