Nobody knows who to trust anymore, fake smiles & backstabbing just to keep your job....everybody pointing fingers at the weakest link on the team, kissing ass just to stay on your TL's good side that really doesn't give a damn about you anyway !

It doesn't do any good to stay on your TL's "good side". Your STL is the one who makes the final decision about "separating" or keeping you. Your TL might have a say in the decision, but they're not the ones who can do anything about it. It's all on STLs and PBS (or whatever your region calls them). It's why good workers can get let go and bad employees can stay. Because if the TL doesn't have the "proper documentation" on the not-so-great TM, there's not much they can do to get rid of them.
So move up. Almost every TL in whole foods started off as a regular TM.
Pretty much. Natural foods sold with fake smiles. That's one of the myriad of reasons why I got out while I could. Nobody is safe and everybody is just a cog on a wheel unless you're store leadership.
That's how I've felt ever since I got hired here like everyone in leadership in my store puts on this mask when they come to work and I knew it was fake, but it wasn't until sales started dropping that, that is what they expected out of me, even after all of the negative things happening around me to other team members and also not getting the raise I was promised. Such a hypocritical place to be now.
