-anonymous169978..and how would you be privy to the locations of the new p.r. stunt stores?? are you an insider at a regional office..and spare me the crap about bringing the "freshness to under served" yeah at twice the price...and if wfm was so concerned about the underserved,maybe they should observe their own team members who can only afford a slice of cheese pizza and a 365 soda everyday for their break meals...lol.. or the team members lack of affordable healthcare..."shared fate" my ass..
The main positions getting the ax are Buyers and Marketing. In the MA, all of our demo specialists are gone, along with Healthy Eating. Bulk buyers, frozen buyer, Whole Body buyer.
Detroit did better than any other store in MI, and it is small.
Broad didn't get it bad. Laugh all you want about a pr stunt. We actually turn a profit. One of three stores in the region.
P.R. stunts that are doing them a lot of good. They got huge tax breaks to build in economically depressed urban zones and have very little to lose by doing so. Both stores are popular with the communities and are exceeding sales projections. More importantly, both stores are serving communities that had few options for fresh, quality foods. Newark and Akron are up next.
those two p.r. stunt stores..lol ...i want to know if they got tax incentives from the cities in order to open those....either-urban empowerment zone,or the some other city based incentives...
