Whole Foods ethics and core values mean nothing anymore. We have a TM who has breast cancer, and she is on and off during her treatment. They are trying to find a way to let her go because she is a "bad bet". Why cut other people's hours or lay them off when they are healthy and sure to be around? Why hold a position for someone when she can't be "all in" for a while? They need people who they can "count on". It is "unfortunate" but these are "drastic times". It is sickening. This person is one of the best team members at the store. People love her. Guests love her. Now they want to abandon her. Sickening. If you know her, let her know. I am still employed at the store and can't risk my position to give her a heads up. She needs a lawyer.
