Rather than cutting some redundancy from our excessive upper management, the writing on the wall says that the majority of the cost cutting will be from the middle and bottom. I won't say which organization, but those of you in my org know exactly what I'm talking about. So much for sustainability and SPIRIT values. Let's bleed the talent pool dry and see what happens.

You got it wrong 169160. "Good" management is hard to find and keep. Just look at COP. They have no good management.

Lunams exploration management team . Essentially. Untouched.
"roller couster" - wow, did you fall off last time round and hurt yourself
Hello wake up? This is the oil roller couster.
Love the comment by 169160 - the good news is that pretty soon COP will only have managers in the teams that used to actually find the oil and gas - so by 169160s reckoning we'll be the best company in the industry
truly priceless
Lol management is difficult to find and keep. That is priceless
The poster does not know corporations very well. Management is difficult to find and keep. Individual contributors are a dime a dozen. Easy to lay off and re hire as needed. The poster needs to get with the real world.
