Any news in Florida region? Our Marketing TMs were given the news that they have the option of a severance or to find a new job in the store/region within a certain window. Store Leadership is trying to calm our TL group that we will support these TMs absorb them into our departments but all these posts have me very nervous. Normally our store leadership is very upfront, makes announcements, etc. but when I asked they said we were waiting until the laid off TMs made their decisions. Anybody have any insight on what's happening for sure in FL?

Florida here, our marketing teams cut but yesterday saw our stl with 6-8 job restructure forms, maybe more to come? I can see why they haven't said anything though...
Florida is the worst comping region in the company, I believe. I'm also here in FL, and I find it hard to believe that we're only losing the marketing groups
Don't know anything yet. We got about the same. All of marketing was cut here inS FL store (demo, catering, healthy eating, etc.).

I would like to know as well. TL here who was off today and found out about all of this today while at home. Haven't heard anything from anyone
Florida has always seemed to be a weird region for the company given how spread out the stores are. The situation might not be as dire there. As a general rule, I'd say don't let management be your only source of information on this.
