At least 20 TMs at my store (smaller store) will have to reapply, lose status and pay/hours, or take severance and become unemployed. 430-something stores. Rough estimate would put this at close to 9000 TMs possibly affected. That's 10% of our TM base. "It's not about pay, it's about evolution"? Just wow.

It's a quote from Omar Gaye, the South region president. One of the people getting laid off on a conference call asked him if anyone at his level would be taking a pay cut or if their bonuses would be effected. Omar responded "It's not about cutting pay, it's about evolving. No one is getting their wages cut." (Obviously, that's a flat-out lie.)
A TM on one of the conference calls which included Regional PBS, RVP, EC, RP. In the South, separate conference calls were held for Marketing, Demo, Buyers, Supervisors, etc.

That comment was made directly from our RP in the south when he was called out about his own pay and bonus
