Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

Halliburton sued for patent infringement.

So after small cuts earlier this year and promises of doing what it takes to keep the work force intact; we now see massive layoffs country wide. Why? #1 Patent infringement lawsuit related to the new sand bin proppant storage. DMC barely got started on the new product line when they were shut down and all job packets and prints were taken and locked up in managements office. #2 Baker Hughes is going to be paying out 2.5 billion for a shoddy job in Europe. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-09-22/baker-hughes-sued-over-steel-used-in-2-5-billion-german-field. They can not protect the share holder and the employee so the employee has to go.

Ok they didn't just start them. They just restarted them after the idiot engineer decided they weren't big enough the first time.
