So chevron is donating $100k for wildfires... Chevron humankind is trash. Y'all involved are just acting like the military in the US. Go everywhere they can to "help" yet no one is asking for your help. Why don't you start fixing the problem inside the company and stop wasting money we supposedly don't have

We should donate pizzas coupons
LOL too! I will not donate funds to the wild fires or any other cause , not after 911. I donated $100 to the 911 fund in the days following the attacks. I felt I was doing something patriotic (and it probably was). What ruined it for me was a story broke a month or two later saying the fund had far exceeded its goals and for that reason not all funds were going to be distributed directly to the victims - that a good chuck of the fund was going to be feld for "other needs". You see why plees for donations now fall on my deaf ears. If i donate to the fires because Chevron asks me to, for all I know, they will be paying part of my next paycheck with my own money. Lol.
....that's where taxes should go to. Where are those state taxes going? I'm sure The state has $ to cover the expense.
Ok, so let's get this straight: the second largest US based oil company is donating 100k, less than the cost of moving an expat family, to a cause that is costing the state of California 5 billion and counting? And that is where the company's headquarters is based? Wow. Talk about pissing on a forest fire! ;-)
