What if Meg woke up and decided to do the right thing. End WFRs and give everyone a raise. Imagine how productivity would improve. Our clients would get what they want on time and with better quality, Stocks would sore because investors would have confidence that we (the employees) could turn this company around. Sales would sore because potential clients would hear that the employees were happy and productive. Wouldn't that be different eh? Sad to say that even though that makes common sense and is how most small business run, the chances of Meg having a clue are about as much as me winning the lottery.

I think we work for the same team. After speaking to my manager, I feel completely unsafe. The time has come to move on. I keep reminding myself that it is only business because I know that the very second my name appears on the WFR sheet, I'm gone regardless of how productive for HP that I am. Anyone who ignores the writing on the wall here at HP does so to their own peril. Get out now while you can do so under your own terms.
This is so true. I can tell you that my team's morale is at THE absolute low. I have 7 people reporting to me and I can feel it, it's palpable. Some of them have been with HP over 20 years and they have never seen things this bad before. I think we are at the point where everyone has lost any hope and people are just waiting for the cuts to be done (if that ever happens).
