Along with teaching in vo-tech schools as part of their outreach. Desperate.

I know the woman running this program. She's as arrogant as you can imagine. Hope her 6 figure salary is one of the next to go.
The person who thought this up
will get a promotion.
"proficiency credit" - lol - EDMC managers are crazy. They need to go to jail already.
Didn't Nero fiddle while Rome burned?
The sad thing is - management is not sweating it - they are making money, have jobs and the scam continues. END THIS FRAUD ALREADY!
What a f***ing joke! The higher-ups know that they can't run to Phoenix or Everest. They are worried that they won't have their boat payments...the more they sweat the better!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another way to scam students. Where will they find the fools to take these expensive workshops? The Get Creative classes lost money for a year so they expand the program. WTF.
I hope the person who thought of this idea is on the next layoff list! Total waste of money!
No really! Get creative classes ARE a groupon. No joke!
LOL "groupon"
Will the marketing budget continue to be groupon? Maybe some flyers at open houses? What an epic waste of money.
This is what EDMC does at all brands. They take a bad idea, spend money and a lot of time on it, then it disappears.
What is a "proficiency credit"? "Certificate of Completion programs are non-credit bearing and do not directly transfer into our academic program offerings, however you may be able to request proficiency credit." At least if these run teachers can get some work. Not enough money is being spent on the facilities to lure new students. Classrooms are run down, minimal equipment, dirty kitchens and poor morale among faculty in staff is what people will see. The Get Creative non credit classes were a good idea for adults years ago - now they are thrown together, poorly managed and an overall sham. All this money on a program that won't be around long. Spend the money to really fix fundamental problems.
