Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Turn on the news Camden

Quit crying and using the PC card. You sound like a troll. If the black population is so great, why are they constantly on the news stirring up trouble. What does their inappropriate animal like behavior have to do with this university? You know the facts yet you continue to have a hard on for these for profit schools. Knowing you spout your nonsense on the yahoo finance message boards tells me you are in this to make money. You have a clear agenda and that is stock manipulation. You know what you are doing is just as big of crime as you accuse this organization of doing. Save the bs and please go elsewhere you fraud.

@Third Uncle Spastic, I have heard claims like this before and then the poster never returns. UoPX is more powerful than than you think. I cannot believe that the pro-business Obama adminstration will allow this to happen. EDMC (Art Institutes, Argosy, Brown-Mackie, South), ESI (ITT Tech), CECO (Colorado Tech, AIU), LINC (Lincoln Tech), UTI, and other for-profit education companies seem more likely to go bankrupt first.

The FTC will issue their report in October and from what I have gleaned, the UOP will file bankruptcy protection and agree to close all physicall locations and eliminate nearly every school/ program now available. This school is not going to survive. I have insider goon info.

They pulled support and funding from all NABVETS (National Association of Black Veterans) chapters that were not profitable. Why would the black community support a partnership between this organization and black leaders? Ridiculous. I suppose black people just love making rich white men richer. Can't wait to see how fast UoPX puts a black person in a corporate officer position before anyone notices that Apollo has avoided doing so for 30 years now.

@Anonymous139918, yes you prove my point about racism at Apollo Group/University of Phoenix. While many might not be blatantly racist, there is a lot of complicity there. I still want to know if Todd Nelson's tenure at Apollo Group set the tone. Do any old-timers want to address this hypothesis, that Nelson was a key factor in UoPX being a racist organization?

You wouldn't believe how many black students I see almost at their aggregate limit of 138,500.00 and then I pull up their FAFSA and they have no source of income.

It's not that they don't understand the interest on their student loans it's that they don't care.

They have no intention of paying it back.

A lot of them think their god Obama will forgive them of their student loan debt.

UOP loves recruiting the black folk and it's hilarious to hear them jabber on about their excess funds too. These idiots are highly coveted because other races look down on a UOP degree. The bloods don't know any better we love to take their money and leave them with a massive student loan payment they have no concept of compounded interest.
