Why on earn would you hold onto ESPP shares to get that long term capital gains tax treatment, when reality is that you are subjecting yourself to capital losses, especially when you have a boatload of RSUs/options that would more than compensate you if the stock does well. And if it doesnt, it doesn't matter how many outstanding QCOM shares you have.
