Severance Pay Benefit...

The Severance Pay Benefit is based on two weeks of regular earnings for each year of SESP Eligibility Service, prorated for completed months. Generally, SESP eligibility Service is calculated from your most recent hire date. It may also include service with an affiliate or acquired company.

Does this mean employees will not get Severance Pay for Chevron worked Contract time that has already been awarded towards their Health & Welfare Benefits?

According to HR documents, it is based on your HWES date.

You better check into that "bridged time" concern with HR to avoid disappointment. Once you are out, you really are OUT.

That's what I was thinking. However when I check my severance calculator on the benefit connection page, it only shows the “most recent hire date” and does not include my bridged contract time.

Easiest way to calculate is your years of service with the company, including bridged contract time.
