Let me say this...2009 the Lord spoke to me that He would dismantle CHK and people would say, "remember when..." insert memory. This was the judgement issued by God regarding this company during this time and here we are today seeing that prophecy come to pass.
Too funny. Here is an idea. Aubrey is going to be CEO of Devon.
Devon could use CHK because Devon doesn't have any good assets.
There isn't anything announced, and there isn't enough cash or financing around to make it happen unless it's stock-for-stock. However, Devon senior management is discussing the possibility using the downturn as an opportunity to pick off prime liquid-producing assets from distressed companies (like Sandridge and all the small guys).
Pretty sure it's just Chesapeake cuts most employees and tries not to go under. Why would Larry and his team want anything to do with this company? They have there own problems
