Does anyone have any information about the next round of layoffs?
Is it tomorrow?
We just had this big move, so when are Finance and Academics getting hit?
Anyone have any credible information?

So long FTEs, extraneous head count, quislings, collaborators and syncophants in academia. Wait until you find out who in academics is being retained. Rest assured it will be the incompetents, sadists, indifferent and venal. And you know what else? They'll will get a raise in the paycheck and letters of recommendation in their files. And you thought it was about being good in your area of expertise, benevolent to you students and professional in your demeanor. But no need to place blame, just look at the fat premetabolic slobs running the show--nuff said.
The problem is the education market is currently saturated with EDMC, Corinthian, GCU, and of course 2000 employees laid off recently by U of P. No chance of getting a job considering this mess in education right now. Many are considering moving out of state. Thanks U of P for job security and treating your employees like crap.
Manager level knows nothing.
@136851mangermeeting do you know when the certification department will get hit (the people that map the schedule and award funds)? Will it be when Vocado is up and running fully or before then and if you have heard anything do you have any idea about how many people will be let go? I know the whole certification department cant be let go, but I do feel strongly the majority will be let go.
In our Managers meeting this week were told 1000 in September, and another 1000 in November, mostly in enrollment and academics and finance departments.
