Thread regarding Cabela's Inc. layoffs

Find another job and do not look back

So many issues with management and the company's organization. The best thing to do is find another job and not be concerned anymore about the problems with Cabela's business plan. I wish the company good luck with finding outfitters that will want to start at the bottom of the ladder and work their way up. Pay being what it is, and threats of hours cut back, well, better to line something up before the cut happens. I don't recommend the place for people unless they want to deal with a bunch of headaches.

Can we vote on which managers to lay off? Maybe right-size them into actually pitching in a hand and helping us in our departments when we already are short staff? I was thinking, boy, if they need to cut the help to keep the budget in line, they'll really love the results when they have minimal amount of employees to pay /s.

more layoffs are on the way for the back end in retail, corporate and distribution.

If you knew you were going to be laid off from your full-time job or have hours cut in December, you'd start looking for another job soon. Cuts were made in the past.
