choose your IT career carefully. if your job is role is production support or manual testing (with rotation into different verticals every two years) you are at the mercy of your employer after 5 years as your employability is very poor in the job market.
Most of indian IT service companies have rotation policies(rotation every 18 months or 2 years) aimed at limiting your domain and technical skills and reducing the employee into the puppet. After 7-8 years questions are raised about your ability to program and automation skill and seniors are replaced by juniors who are made go thro same cycle. This has resulted in large pool of dud work force who lack core technology and programming skill. Manual Testing folks with over 8 -10 years experience are not being hired in the job market as they lack deep skill in any domain or technology and testing skill and test mgmt are not given importance. (person roated every 2 years will not know anything properly)
freshers beware don't accept manual testing and support rolls post campus in most of Indian IT services companies, instead join any startup to gain valuable technical skill and programming else learn SAP like products to establish your career.
the training programs in many indian IT service companies are designed to prevent people from gaining deep technical skills so that the professional become cheap labour and cant find jobs outside the company.
Domains like logistics have absolutely no long term future and have very few job in job market
