Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Are UoPX Really as Happy as the Glass Door Reviews?

Looks like those employees who are writing reviews of University of Phoenix are relatively satisified with th company.........................http://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/University-of-Phoenix-Reviews-E130372.htm

Don't believe everything you read on Glassdoor.com. Use critical thinking to sift the BS from the truth...

Anonymous115700 - Its only going to get worse as the company tanks.. Getting out now is going to be easier than when their name is synonymous with the failures of Corinthian or ITT Tech. Hard to say which will crash first but both are well on the way.

Not one likes her job at this place. We look but there are no good jobs. This place is poorly managed, and will eventually close. I went to UOP and no companies want to hire us my cousin told me cuz he works for a major bank they just throw away.

Keep in mind that UOP HR has a page on Glassdoor, it's a sponsor/publisher arraignment and UOP pays to Glassdoor for that page (see the quote below). There is a group of internal folks who are monitoring internet chatter and spend a lot of time on Glassdoor, they will log complaints, etc if things posted is not something they like. So, think in terms of how Glassdoor makes money, they do not want to piss off any sponsor and they have thousands of them, so they will bend over and do anything UOP asks them to do. In addition they track you and they ask you to log in, etc. so they can see what you are doing and they are not reliable in my eyes, I would not trust anything on that site... UOP Page on Glassdoor flags UOP as "Engaged Employer - This employer has claimed their profile and is engaged in our community."

Just an FYI: sites like glass door don't post your review as written. After its submitted, they review it and decide which portions to publish on their site. They try to remove as much subjectivity as possible, even though that seems counter-intuitive. Most of what I wrote in my review was removed.

Everyone knows its management doing PR spin on this site, and the others. UOP will layoff another 1000 and shutter most ground campuses by summer of 2016. UOP and the idiots who perpetuate the lies are finished. Now where are my donuts?

I went 20 pages deep and they're all still from this year.. seems phony. I'm sure companies never hire PR people to give glowing reviews of their criminal empire? Who has ever even heard of that website and bothered to fill out something?

Hmm, evidence that contradicts my already drawn conclusions? Must be a scam, perpetrated by management!
