Plagiarism at UOP

My first class I work very hard, I received an A-. Well the next class, by we was learning how the write our essays. To make a long story short, I was accused of plagiarism. Man I cried all night long, because I know I never stole anything from anyone. The sad thing about it, I had day surgery, mother-in-law was brain dead, uncle dying with Cancer and several more things going on. It almost burst my heart. I cited everything, gave every site, including web, author, book etc. I felt in my heart I was done wrong. I kept copies of my report. I was being charged over 10,000.00 dollars for just a few classes. It would be about 30,000 or 40,000 for the simple course I was taking.

Long story short, I do not have a bad driving record, no bad criminal record etc. and these people want me to have a bad school record. Even when I talk I do not steal anyone's words. These people need to be checked out, and the students that was wronged, be cleared. I went to Technical school and never got a plagiarism charge. I am so hurtled, I just turn against going back or trusting any more schools. Hundreds of people know me and knows I won't steal a thing.

Some students think that because they CHOOSE to overpay for an education they suddenly become entitled to high grades and exceptions to academic policy. You should be thanking UOP for teaching you this lesson before your employer does.

I recognize this is a fake school, and laughing at the idiots who attend this diploma mill makes it all the more fun working here. I hope I get laid off in fall

Its a fun distraction to make fun of students instead of realizing what a crock of crap this school is.

@Theresa - seriously??! 30 - 40k for that ONE course? I paid just over $1200 for lower division and $1800 for upper division, which was a lot less than I was at Cal State Santa Barbara. Apparently, you don't read through your work. A 10 year old has better grammar than you. If I had a family emergency during my UCSB studies, I would be responsible for it and NOT the school. An education is there to also simulate a real-world work environment. Employers give you as much as just your vacation time (2 weeks on average) or bereavement in a family death event. If a person cannot take care of their personal matters within that time, your job can be offered to someone else. It's called being an adult, taking ownership and understanding that every decision and every action has an outcome. Good or bad and no one but yourself is responsible for that action. GROW UP AND STOP WHINING!

Who cares, if you graduate you might as well wipe your ass with your degree. If you ate the right food you might even come out more prestigious from the event.
