Yep it's that bad...I have been at UOPX for six years now...I work full time...I have not gotten a raise in three years...I am still being told "the wage freeze is still on". To make ends meet I donate my plasma twice a week and go to food banks at the end of each month. I buy my cloths and shoes at the Goodwill, Salvation Army, garage sales ect, ect...It's a damn good thing my children are grown and gone. Or we would be on food stamps too. But even better yet, they don't have to know how their mother is struggling just to survive. OH AND DID I SAY I WORK FULL TIME...LORD KEEP ME NEAR THE CROSS

@114074: Did it ever occur to you that basic necessities are too expensive when living on one income? Rent is certainly not cheap, even if an individual lives in the worst part of town. Don't forget to include the exorbitant utility bills in the summer! Add groceries, auto insurance, gas to get to and from work (or bus fare), and there's literally nothing left. Regarding other employment opportunities (as KeepNitReal stated), age discrimination can be a problem for older job seekers.

You must not know how hard it is for a 58 year old to find a job with a wage to SURVIVE just the necessities. Oh I am in operations, ie LOWEST PAID… EMPLOYIES… It’s ridiculous because it’s not you…FYI, everyone does not get a raise every year, pay attention… And if you do, I’m happy for you. One word ECONNOMY…Keep me near the cross lord.

Everyone in the company receives a yearly pay increase and makes a decent wage; even the lowest end employee in Operations. Your post is ridiculous.
I love getting faded on XTC and coke, and working for this school. My manager tells me to enroll any dope off the street. That dumb bitch knows she's gone this fall. I'm not doing this bullshit. I keep telling the bitch it's unethical and she threatens to write me up. I'm going to speak to ombuds. That guy thinks she's insane and I don't give a f*** it I get fired. Stop the insanity and find another job! If it is that bad and what you say is true then you should be motivated to look at other employment opportunities.
