Been with the company 16+ years and worked in different stores, locations and have held a number of positions. With that being said, I make a decent living from raises and promotions over the years which means in today's Staples world you have a target on your back. Max out on pay so no raises for years. This year get a review of "does not meet" which means no bonus while others got theirs. Was told by DM that I already made enough money. Put on PIP last year for CSAT...even though above company numbers. Now this week on what was supposed to be a 4 day work week, I put in another 61 hours of work only to be rewarded with another PIP..this one is so wide open, they can fire me for almost anything....been trying for last 18-24 months to piss me off enough to quit but has not worked so now this. If you are a manager over 50K a year, watch your back. They are looking at every possible way to cut dollars....funny thing is the DMs and RVPs are doing it thinking that they are safe...they are just doing the dirty work until they are not needed. Sad days for this company.
About time for GMs to stand together with a lawsuit...this company only listens when money is involved
