The letter says the chose who got cut based on the role, needs of the business, enrollment trends and workload, job function, assessment of current performance, past performance, education, credentials, and length of service. That is a lot of Bull s**t! It all comes down to a popularity contest based on how much ass you are willing to kiss. Nothing is ever based on merit at EDMC. It was all too clear when I saw them marching to the gallows. It makes no sense to me why you would want ass kissing poor performers instead of those who actually work and don't make excuses. No by all means keep the ones who do nothing but socialize all day, show up late, (or not at all) the ones who were picking up their slack are gone now and all you have left are lazy brown nosers. Well done EDMC! Well done.

Anyone still at EDMC is there either because they can't get a job elsewhere or they are too lazy to leave.
They are canning the ones that make too much money and they have to pay benefits. I was replaced by a contractor whom probably makes $10 hr and they don't have to pay benefits to. Stock is at $0.07 a share and enrollment is way down. There'll be more terminations and layoffs in the near future. EDMC lost the lawsuit against the hedge fund and has to cough up $14 million.
Oh yeah forgot to add the the Director of SA also takes credit for everyone else's ideas....
Doesn't surprise me one bit....just look at the Director of Student Accounting and it is plain to see they keep the ones that brown nose the best around.....all he does is kiss ass and do whatever is the popular decision instead of what makes sense......no spine and a moron to top it off......

Yep, EDMC= masters of BS. I dont know who they think they are fooling. It's obvious they pick who they like and then use these evaluational to rig it for the people they want to push out. I am sure they think in their little minds that they are covering their tracks by creating a paper trail, but didn't work and it was the spark that crated the whistle blower who went to the US Government and spilled the beans on all their shady practices. Which by the way resulted in the largest lawsuit in history against a for-profit college. Even if they stop the bleeding, this is why they will ultimately fail.
You are 100% correct. After the "identify" a position for elimination they go back and re-hire others with no experience in the position as well in order to keep the more "likeable" or easily manipulated on their team.
