Quit on my own terms

Quit recently. Got a new job, no goals, no numbers. Keep looking, you'll find something. Unless your the 50% of people who didn't need a degree to get a job there. For you, learn this phrase, "fries with that, sir." You guys should be very worried, very worried. You can't make 50K+ without a degree in the real world. Too bad you bought that new house and car. I feel bad for you...no I don't.

Really? I was making 50k / year 10 years ago without my degree. Guess what ... I still don't have it even after working at EDMC for many years. I now make over 100K. You must believe your own BS you tell prospective students. Work hard and keep your skills up to date and you'll get paid. Oh, and learn some humility

50,000 is pretty standard for people with a 4 year degree in a lot of fields. Without that, you better be really good sales person. I know a lot of people that went into real estate and doing really well without a degree. Its fast money and in big chunks but then you have become a plastic, phony, fake friend to all sorts of strangers to swindle them out of thousands of dollars when the timing is right. Some are good at it, some are not.

What I see now are people scared out of their minds. Why else would you be on this site? Seems a bit strange. I really, honestly feel very sorry for all of you. That guy may be arrogant, but life really is better away from edmc. I feel most of the people I worked with will have a great deal of trouble getting a job that pays as well. I got a great job after leaving, but that was after using a lot of pto to go on interviews. If you think you will retire at edmc, you haven't been keeping up with current events. Good luck.

LOL written like someone who can't buy a car or a house like we can because you don't have that 50k salary anymore. I'll hit my numbers all day err day because I enjoy the nice things I can afford thanks to EDMC. Sucks to be you, bud!

Did you learn the difference between your and you're while you were at college? Or didn't you have to take English as a Condencending Prick major?

You must have graduated from clown school. That is how you got a job with no goals or numbers. Enjoy making those balloon animals.

For you, learn the difference between your and you're. Are you sure you have a degree? If so, do you think having one makes you better than anyone else? Not sure what your (see what I did there?) new job is, but I'm pretty sure you're (again?) not going to last long. In case you haven't noticed, fewer and fewer people can't change a lightbulb or patch a hole in drywall. You might want to get that silver spoon out of your ass and actually live in the real world.

No goals and no numbers? Must be a government job. If not, I feel sorry for the business owners who hired you....
