Thread regarding Wal-Mart Stores Inc. layoffs

I want to help but...

I'm one of the many workers who busts their butt at Walmart, and would like to improve the system (e.g. make it safer for employees). Clearly, Walmart workers (including managers) are intimidated by the power of this monolith and won't speak when they need to. Violating OSHA regs seems ok to Walmart executives because it costs less to hire lawyers who can get those imjuries swept under the rug, all those disability claims denied? I'll be back. Let me know if you want to talk.

I'm sending my safety concerns to the Global Ethics Hotline. Do they do anything related to safety if no one has been able to correct a problem?
