So I should sneak out that stapler that I've had my eye on? I was hoping for a garage sale but if I can get a computer and some office equipment cheaper.....
Companies still operate as normal shortly before they declare bankruptcy so people don't panic and steal the furniture. If they do it before they declare bankruptcy then they can't control it. The first thing that people see is the doors locked then they find out that the company has declared bankruptcy later that day.
I like how Gav was trying to say "if you want to be here you will be, could be 190 could be 220 I don't know." That part was infuriating. We all know you have hard numbers you're cutting. Be up front about it.
"EDMC are not taking enrollments now at any schools for next term" - That can't be true. Where is the evidence to support that and, if that's the case, why still have AND hire AR's (I know of a few that are recent additions)?
What I can say is how many positions are available:
121 positions available if 10 SAs/ team w/ 1 AC/team. IF it is 2 AC then it will be 132 positions available.
143 positions available if it is 12 SAs/team w/ 1 AC/team If it is 2 AC then it will be 154 positions available.
It doesn't matter how many people walk out... your jobs are not safer. If they had you on the list, you are still on the list.
Considering the media said 70 people gone from just pittsburgh is say that many. If the school is still open by then.

I agree. They will probably announce complete closure within two weeks. That is 20,000 employees and aver 100,000 students locked out.
The stock is at ten cents today. It will reach zero if it stays on the same decline for one to two weeks. Companies usually announce that they are closing just before the stock reaches zero. EDMC are not taking enrollments now at any schools for next term.
