Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Am heading to jail now, for insider trading

Guess I wasn't as smart as I thought. Man, that $270,000 profit cost me more than I though.

Peace out,

Jing

UT said it was a $500,000 fine for Jing. (Of course, we KNOW how reliable they are....) I think he also made the trade from a QC account--which is dumb. Q automatically deducts the state and federal taxes from any profits. So there's a record of any such transactions.

18 month in state prison...maybe can apply parole after 6 month if he is doing good in the jail.

No worry about our ex-EVP. He is doing fine. Only 50K fine + 1500 hrs community service. Not a bad deal, the hourly rate for community service is about $145 USD, still much better than most of you guys.

Totally not worth it...my athr retention RSUs were worth more than that at time of grant and no insider trading was required. Although i had to wait 3 years to receive all of it, at least I won't need to worry about getting my fudge packed while I'm showering
