It's amazing the number of management that has been hired out of GE or only have university level experience to get a PHD before the layoffs started that are completely clueless how to manage a business to be profitable because all they can do is make Excel charts & spread sheets of "new ideas" that have already been proven to not work in the energy/manufacturing industry but they are too busy trying to make a name for themselves to care about the people or COEs they are supposed to be leading. Too many people with legitimate knowledge of how to run a business for profit while respecting it's employees through the tough times have been shown the door, every locatio that has a Halliburton location is going to suffer.

Favoritism in a work place has been around for a long time. There has been many persons who were caught and let go and fired because of it. And, there has been some who have been flying under the radar. I believe your time is coming Caldwell.

136902 is absolutely right. I have seen, if you are from GE, you are a management guy. These managers are BS! They are a good ass kissers though. Hal has to get rid of these managers. They are still hanging around. Why are they keeping them with hefty paycheck?

When has any Halliburton merger been anything but a total disaster? They bought Dresser to get Sperry and today Baker has the better MWD, LWD and DD systems? Darn near lost the entire company from the asbestos liabilities that came with Dresser. All you need to be top management material for Halliburton is to have worked at GE. A good manager can manage anything right? Total BS! These clowns don't know their ass from a hole upon the ground. I just hope the incompetents don't wind up killing two companies in their current clusterfuck.

Management here is a total joke. People think they have something special working for Halliburton. They have nothing. Just a paycheck, look out the window while you are working, everybody is driving to work somewhere else, Halliburton thinks they are the only game in town. What a joke. Look a their stock prices, top management is in the middle of the biggest blunder known to modern mankind. Merger with BH, Big Deal. The smaller companies are kicking our butts. Everyone knows it. Just keep taking a paycheck, as long as you can, seniority, loyalty means nothing here. The public is correct, Halliburton is bad for the whole worlds environment. We cement casings, then blow big friggin holes in them to frac., Get real, own up to it, they buy the reports that say we're good, we're jerks with money. Plain and simple..........................
