Isn't it time we put someone who has earned the trust of EA back in charge to turn this ship around rather than chip away at the heart of the employees who are only following the terrible lead of those currently in charge. I would nominate former SVP of Marketing Scothon. Can I get a "woo-hoo" on that? The current leadership in place at the EA campus leaves me with zero confidence in them. I love my job but it's nearly impossible to love coming to work for them.

Woo hoo! Chuck gets my vote.
If Curran is at MGA then he has my sympathy. The owner of that company is a nut job. Years ago he was posting not he MGA site about how mattel security was stalking his wife & kids and had some crazy conspiracy stuff that he posted. very scary.
Scothon would be excellent, even better would be to sever all ties with mattel. The purchase of FP by mattell started the downward spiral.
He is in fact at MGA now.
I would welcome the bean counter Curran back at this point, even Allmark, though he didn't do crap other than smile and make you feel good at least the morale was better. The current leadership makes us feel small, constantly whispering and mocking like the mean girls (take that however you want) that they are. They look at us in EA as yokels, mock our fashion sense and culture and too consumed with their fashion sense and online shopping than righting a rudderless ship that is slowly, and painfully sinking.
What do they care? When they (if they) get the ax they get a massive compensation package. It's a win-win for them regardless of whether we lose.
We've lost too many good hardworking passionate people in the past few years because of their cancerous politically charged popularity games at everyone but their own expense. Hasbro. Here I come!
Someone in another posting said it best: PLM = people leaving mattel
The last I had heard he was doing consulting work maybe. I say whatever it takes to bring him back, settle things down and get us heading in a direction we can believe in- do it. I really feel sad as I watch the erosion of employee morale and slow dismantling of this great company.
Isn't he working for MGA now?
