Thread regarding Mattel Inc. layoffs

I feel for Mega brands.....the cancer that is Mattel's SENIOR mgmt. is now running through your veins.

It won't be long before before all your competencies are replaced/reworked by corporate VP's looking to make their mark. Just look at their history of acquisitions and how they faired to know that the worse is on the horizon. How's that PLM working for you right now?

I felt so bad for the probably great people at MEGA when I heard they were bought by Mattel. Been through it at FP, where a great company was nearly destroyed (and continues to sink) by the dysfunctional management at Mattel. Hope all those MEGA folks realize that the best thing they can do is polish up their resumes. Mattel will find a way to bring down the company and its individual culture which made it successful.

MEGA's future is controlled by the good old boy club. Not promising. And remember: PLM means People Leaving Mattel.

Mega is going to go the way of radica unless there's some ridiculous tax break to operating out of canada. Mega has always been the ghetto version of lego and mattel getting their mitts on it with the current state of affairs isn't going to help. My friends at MEGA have already complained about how mattel stepping in has screwed up process for the worse and slowed production to the point of missing ship dates.

You can blame mattel for putting the one unlikes canadian in charge there. Thankfully, they booted her back to NY so she can finish the destruction she had already started there in the first place.
