"We are committed to ensuring that currently enrolled students..." What needs to happen next is former students, who have not passed their boards or found work, need to request a full reimbursement of their educational expenses and time lost for attendance. Considering the fact they most likely went through the same process, they should be compensated in a manner that would be consistent with lost wages, time, and duress considering they could very easily have received adequate training elsewhere had they known what the practice would be at BMC. So many other programs across the board (all locations) should be severely scrutinized since many deans compel instructors to simply make it as easy as they possibly can to get students passed in an effort to bring up their persistence numbers. What's funny is that several deans may read this and know they are the ones being talked about (any deans invited to give a speech at an ACICS conference within the past couple years?). The reason for the invitation - would not allow students to be failed thereby making an appearance of significant improvement. This is common. Students and grads have an option now by using this as their guide.

I was online nsg student getting very good grades. One day I got a call from the very earnest financial aid guy telling me he needed to charge me $500.00 for a clinical fee. I told him I did not understand this fee as I was not taking any clinical courses as of yet. He was steadfast in his persistence.

Thinking I had no choice in the matter if I wanted to continue in the program, I gave him authorization to raid my account. To this day I don'y know what that fee was really for. This is just one inexplicable instance of skuldugery. When I think back, I'm amazed how easily I was duped all because I was desperate to reinvent myself. Desperate individuals will always be targets for people who want to take advantage of them. I was a good student. I jumped through all the hoops, was respectful to my instructors, paid my bills on time . Still when I started to ask why this or that wasn't provided to help me reasonably reach my educational goals, I was immediately labeled a disgruntled outlier. That's when I realised what the $500.00 was for. This was just one instance of weirdness. The list is long. I should have seen it coming but I was blinded by good intentions and having had no problems with schools in the past. I thought, I'll be fine. Too bad I was working under an old paradigm of what true institutions of learning used to be.

When I was an OTA student in Kentucky they sent 7 of my class mates to a homeless shelter for a month long field work site! No professional supervision at all. Teacher just told them to be creative with the homeless people. Of course they all got an A as there was no qualified fieldwork educator on site to give them anything less.

You should see how the dean forces the dishonest approach at brown Mackie in akron ohio. that is a horrible scene also. how she still has a job after all the fraud she forces and does is a real magicians trick.

Makes you wonder how many other "programs" that purport to train LPNs exsist that are questionable at best. The states need to kick in their regulatory authority to protect the public; and now they have. This measure is not anti-business but clearly pro public health. The Arizona board of nursing should be commended in this matter and all should read what they have to say regarding the serious deficiencies found and documented at the Agape hospice facility. You can find this document if you follow the above address. There are no idle opinions here, just statements of fact.

OMG!!!! THIS IS AWFUL AND A DISGRACE!!! Especially in the nursing field, where you are responsible for the lives of others. Using "veterinary" equipment instead of actual medical or hospital equipment shows how low they would go. Glad they were caught!!

Couldn't happen to a nicer group of people!! I feel sorry for the students but the state nursing board and ACICS both need to get on the stick and sanction them further.
