Show me the legal papers that say Halliburton must sell Sperry. When Halliburton sold Pathfinder, there were legal documents saying Halliburton had to. Times have changed, schlum bought smith bits and aquired pathfinder. Never had to sell it, because the times have changed. Sperrys doesn't have to be sold, Halliburton has squeezed all the profit it can out of it, and doesn't want it.

HAL has to sell Sperry Drilling because of the acquisition of Baker Hughes.
That's standard operating procedure for corporate oil and gas service companies.
