Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

QCT employees. Now is the time to cull through your email, calendar, phone records for proof of working overtime without pay....

Gather as much email/calendar event records, phone records, meeting records that showed you had to work overtime hours at night and weekends regularly and save all that information into a USB drive....If you get a shitty severance, it might be work talking to these guys and sue qualcomm

Yeah. Go ahead and pay $2,500-$3,000 to a lawyer to 'splain your rights. The reality is that unless you are a trainee, an IT worker, or involved in certain manufacturing positions, you are most likely a salaried computer professional--which are one of the exempt occupatios. (Administrative, managerial, professionals, and outside sales are others.) You probably also have salaries above the $41.27/hr or $85,981.50 annual salary, which also exempts you from overtime. If your ER gave you a bonus for any of those review periods you worked more than 40 hrs. per week, you received compensation. 8 )
