Complacency Period!
Thank you hamilee
How many people were working there?
After 10+ years with them I'm glad I got out a couple years ago, probably stayed longer than I should have. At this point Process Systems has so much damage to the Natco brand it will likely continue it's decline until nobody remembers it. This really signals their departure from the Canadian market with no hopes of recovery. They lost the vast majority of expertise in the couple years post-acquisition and simply can't support the product base anymore, let alone execute the projects with success in their own facilities. Best of luck to all those affected!
So sad. I was there for the other closures, but left before the Calgary announcement. Is there any hope for Process Systems?
Only one left is New Iberia. I have friends over there. They are figuring it's not too much longer until it's their turn.
Can confirm, Calgary Manufacturing facility for Cameron - Process Systems (Old Natco) will be closing their Shepard road shop. Sad news considering Natco was building there for 50 years.
Writing has been on the wall. 2013 they closed Magnolia, 2014 they closed Electra and now 2015 they're closing Calgary. Those were the 3 big facilities from Natco used for process equipment manufacturing.
News comes from insiders.
Which one and where are you getting this information from?
Too bad....
