I’m a former employee that owns stock. All software engineers who work remotely should be laid off immediately. Those working out of or through Rankin are the worst offenders. They’ve been cheating the company for many years and now is a good time to get rid of this dead weight. Working remotely is a privilege but somehow it has become a right to the Software Prima Donnas. If you get paid you should come to work period!

Good business practice would be fire them before the merger, and rehire on lower salary after the merger if required.
Can't HAL needs 'em to replace the Sperry crap. The rest of us are more readily expendable.
