When horizontal drilling really began to take off in the Niobrara formation of Colorado (early 2012) Noble and Anadarko's production was essentially even at approximately 60,000 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE). Today Noble is producing approx. 115,000 BOE. Anadarko is producing approx. 215,000 BOE. I am pretty sure Noble has far out spent Anadarko in the DJ Basin. I wonder if they have GAP at Anadarko? It is sure working for Noble. Need I say more?

ummmm.....you must be Noble Management. The comment was meant to show Anadarko is a much better company to work for, and their success shows ! I've worked for both and there is NO comparison. Anadarko values talent and integrity, and at Noble those qualities work against you. Don't waste your time with this unprofessional company.
Cograts on going back to Anadarko. Everything you said in your post in exactly correct. Want to get ahead at Noble then kiss ass like crazy... and don't be over 40 years old. Want to get ahead at Anadarko be a competent professional. Have not seen any layoffs at Anadarko. Why?... because they know know how to manage their business. Noble has no idea what they are doing. I am amazed by the lack sophistication of their management team. If you were laid off by this company it is on them not you... and what goes around comes around. It is a poorly managed company with below average talent throughout the company. Their poor performance is a testament to this.
There is no comparison between Noble and Anadarko.....
Anadarko values experience and talent, and is all about getting the job done right the first time...
Noble is all about who you know, and could care less about quality work.
Compare their success.. and you will quickly see.
I've worked for both companies and would choose Anadarko in a heartbeat.
They have excellent management and a caring environment. Just the opposite of Noble.
I'm headed back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wish Noble Energy all the worst! Haha
Also appears that their Elko, Nevada prospect is a bust. We understand that they have been trying to sell this prospect with NO takers.
No exploration success in the past three yrars but spent big money in nicaragua in 2013 and falkland this year, i bet nothing commercial in falkland. Stock to be junk someday or bought by another company in five years.
This company has been in a bad situation way before the Rosetta acquisition and with all the changes going on it is sinking fast. Too many changes all at one time and terrible management.
I bet this company is in very bad situation. both financially and oil production.
Oil was up 3.0% today. Anadarko was up 2.65% today. Noble Energy down 0.48% today. When an energy stock trades in reverse of the oil price you may have issues. Do you really want to own this stock? This stock has tanked since Noble announced their acquisition of Rosetta. Just saying.
Nope I'm not going to work there, I was shown the door. The "Best in class" remark was sarcasm.
The only thing "best in class" about this company is their rhetoric. They disappoint in almost every other measurable area. They say all of the right things but can't deliver. As an employer they fall way short of expectations. If you decide to work here you will be disappointed. Financially they come up way short of expectations also. Thus their sorry stock price. You can see how much Wall Street like their most recent acquisition... their stock is down 12% since this acquisition was announced. As a shareholder you aren't to happy about that. And this after they diluted their common shareholders earlier this year.
If you could give this company an overall grade it would be a C- or D+.
I thInk the phrase is "Best In Class."
I bet Noble Energy will be going down and to be bought in five years. Stock to be worthless.
I think it shows which company is "premier" and which company is not.
The point of the post says volumes. Anadarko has no where near the number of Land staff yet they produce twice as much. In addition you don't see all of the television commercials and PR.
This post speaks for itself.
What's the point of your post?
