OK so you are saying Jack Moore officially announced his retirement and is remaining on the Board for Cameron International but will be an employee of our biggest rival GE. I hope you see the flaw in your thinking. Jack Moore is retiring, he is not joining GE. Why do people get on this web site and say dumb things? I don't understand why some people think its funny to tear down other people. You may not like Jack Moore and you may be jealous of what he has, but don't let another mans success steal away from your life. Just because you don't have millions of dollars doesn't mean your not wealthy. I'm sure you love your family just as much as he loves his.
Jack Moore joining GE, so he quit Cameron - he didn't like the IT culture (too many indians)
V&M, Drilling and One Subsea - Signed off by GE
Cameron under the tummy of GE
I am not sure if most of you are aware but GE oil and gas are laying people off also just like every major Oil and gas related company. So the likely hood of them purchasing Cameron or V&M to be specific is not high. They too have their hands full with customers pulling back the reigns and their work load is also disappearing. So I hate to burst any bubbles, but chances are, Cameron is going to be in this turn around on its own.
Dear Cameron legal... Why is that most of V&M can travel yet EPV/DSV are told to suck it up by the new global manager and not travel. I would assume this is to reduce cost and make it a better buy for the likes of GE etc...
I would also like to point out that sales are down and its a the perfect time for a take over a company.
If you're from India or the UK, or one of the good 'ol boys, you're safe. Never seen Cameron layoff any of these 3 types of a-holes.
Rowe is a nice guy, but end of the day it's a business...
Look at Jim wright started in the back blocks...
I would say it's a good time to buy other companies now. When the market is down... That's how they all work...
If you're scared, you might want to go to church more often.
It was an observation, not hating on someone. Rowe is a good guy, he's been at the right place at the right time.
I am doing my job, which is why I'm going to be leaving this dump before the sh.. hits the fan. Quit being so overly sensitive, you pansy layoff candidate. When leaders leave companies, you'd better watch your back!
Scott Rowe is a West Point grad as well as a Masters Degree holder from Harvard U. I believe the man is more qualified than most to run a large corporation.... And he has been with Cameron for over 13 years. Quit hating on people and just do your job. No company wants to get rid of an individual who works hard and is productive.
hahaha - as if I believe that last comment came from the legal dept.
I can assure you there has been no upfront work on V&M selling to GE Oil and Gas. This is someone who is just trying to get a rise out of people. With the Oil market as is right now, no one is buying anyone else, so everybody just relax.
sell off of V&M to follow.. GE are just completing sign offs......
You're the dummy. I just like getting a rise out of you losers.
interesting how Rowe climbs the ranks so fast.
leaving? lol, yeah, leaving, but remaining on the Board. BFD.

So what does this mean for the rest of us?
