Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

Enjoy working in ND PP

I have worked in North Dakota for three years and for the last two it has been the greatest time I have ever had. The management team is engaged and is actively participating in all functions on a daily basis. Of course you get some who don't like it because we have had to make some cuts but. I will not say any names but the DM is on the same level playing field as The field employees. It takes a team to accomplish what we have and I am proud to be a part of it. I am sorry many of you have had bad experiences with your management team and ass kissers but please don't take this wrong. There are so many negative comments on here I thought I would post something positive.

Bet you have no stinky curries in ND, unlike Woodlands and Rankin Road.

Entitled like the CEO and his cronies? The entitled ones did enough right to set them up for life. You're a fool to think you're anything more than a data point to the decision makers. One of the vp's in pp tomball said it best at a town hall earlier this year "$100 barrel oil covers a multitude of sins". Maybe they should have planned better for the lean times instead of wasting money on free food cafeterias, x-box, big screen tvs, and Starbucks cafes at the training center. The training center is still runnning and usually full of cars whereas the employee parking lot is emptier each passing week. Greed and waste is the real problem. " just saying"

It is good to read something positive when we all work with the entitlement generation. The entitlement generation has probably cat Baker Highes well over 20 million a year because they are lazy and think the company owes them. Maybe Baker Would not have been for sale if the entitlement generation would of had a good work ethic. "just saying"
