We are hearing from very reliable sources that Furniture will be going to a 3rd party just as the SDO's are. Does anyone here have anything? Thank you!

All I can say is that several months prior to the first SDO closure announcements, we began hearing through the grapevine (which consisted of subcontractors actually delivering for those courier companies) that the routes for our SDO location were put out for bid to several area 3rd party companies. Within less than a year of hearing that news, the announcement came that our SDO was being closed. So if it Is true that furniture department operations have been put out for bid to subcontractors, it's probably only a matter of time. I'd hope furniture operations don't go the way of fleet operations, but if bids for furniture operations ARE already out, that in itself should be a warning sign for anyone still working in that area of the company.
Many indicators are pointing to furniture being outsourced by the day. Bids are out so beware everyone.
Heard that same potential rumor back when our SDO closed. . From what I know the furniture team us still there for now.
